Work, Florida, work, Florida... that's pretty much our lives lately. Now that Karen is in PCB, Sean and I have been down there twice in 4 weeks, and plan on going down again for my birthday/memorial day weekend. We just don't see much reason to stay in ATL when we can leave friday and go to the beach for the weekend. Neither one of us minds the 5:15 drive, it actually gives us time together without any distractions. We both really enjoy chatting, planning, and joking with each other, and this is just the perfect time for that.
ATL has nothing on these beaches!
Nothing moved after throwing a couple rocks and sticks... so we went inside...
Karen was our watch guard... from the outside...
This is all we found... a rat caught in a mouse trap... a long long time ago, only bones left on this one.
Sean got Mom's mower runnin'... yipee!
Earlier this month we went to the Jimmy Buffett concert. It was chilly, as seen in photo, but we had a blast! Zac Brown showed up and played a few songs with Jimmy, it was so awesome!
The only mormon comparison to alcohol in my back pocket... RED BULL!
Random story: One sunday afternoon Sean and I were sitting on our back deck eating a peaceful turkey dog lunch, when all of a sudden:
S: Ash don't move.
A: Is there something on me?
S: No, but you're not going to like this.
As I turn around, I see a 4 foot black snake just chillin' on a branch, just about hanging over the edge of our deck. NOT COOL! Sean and I both stood there, got the chills, and shivered a few times watching it slither from branch to branch...NASTY!!! I watched it all afternoon, I went crazy. Luckily, it slithered to a tree away from our house, but SERIOUSLY?!?! GROSS! Any who, now every time Sean and I get out of the car, or walk around outside, we periodically look up just to make sure our little slimmy friend isn't there.
Sean and I are becoming a bit neurotic about the yard. We both check on the flowers everyday, talk about improvement, and are giddy when a flower starts to bloom. I know, crazy home owners! We love it though!

Love your beach pictures...I must say I'm jealous!
I would be freaking about the snake too. Several people in my neighborhood have had copperheads in their backyards and one of my friends' husbands actually got bitten by one! It makes me paranoid every time I go outside!

Way to update Ash! Cute photos! I can just see you and Seany, Royal and I and the three kiddos riding to surf! Can't wait for summer!
