Nothin' new...

Hello everyone, I hope everyone is doing well. Sean and I are wonderful, no complaints coming from the east side of the country. Okay I admit, I have one, but it's legit... I just want to hold Breanne's new baby. Yes, my sister Breanne had her first baby on October 1. It is a little girl, Kennidi Noelle Smith. She was 7 lbs 10 oz and 21" long. She is adorable. I wish I could see and hold her, but pictures will have to do until Christmas. Other than that we are doing great, school is going well for me and Sean loves his job, as always. We had a pretty eventful weekend, thursday we went to a new friends house for dinner. They are couple in our ward that we have gotten to know. They are wonderful people and tons of fun to be around. Kimberly, my new friend, cuts hair so guess what I did? I chopped it off. Yes, my hair that I have been growing out since before the wedding is gone. I love it though. It is so much easier to take care of and I think that I look older, which is a good thing for me. Back to our weekend, Friday night we were invited to go to dinner with a few of Sean's old buddies that he grew up with and who he also went to BYU with. It was fun meeting new people and getting to know some of Seans old friends and their wives. We all laughed and had a great time in eachothers company. Then Saturday I worked in the morning and Sean played golf (our typical saturday), but after that we went to dinner with Sean's uncle and Aunt that live in Snellville. They had baptised their new baby and invited us to a dinner afterwards since I had to work. It was fun being with family. Uncle George is always fun to be with. Their family always makes you feel so welcome and right at home. It's nice to have some kind of family with in a reasonable driving distance. Anyways, that is about it in our lives. For some reason we stay quite busy, apparently people like us and want to hang out with us... Ha ha ha, Im kidding we love being with friends and family as much as we can. I totally forgot to tell everyone that two weekends ago Sean and I got to go to a Dave Ramsey meet and greet. It was the coolest thing. Oh and for those who don't know who Dave Ramsey is, he is a financial guy that has his own radio talk show and he is the coolest. He has the best books, one would be "Total Money Makeover", he is all about not having any debt at all, or even any credit cards. So Sean and I went and got a couple books signed by him and took our picture. He is so inspiring I think everyone should read his books and listen to him on the radio... if they can. The night after meeting Dave Ramsey, Sean and I went to a surprise birthday party for our friend Tre Spivey. Sean offered to make the birthday cake... so we did and it was awesome. I don't know why Im say 'we', it was really all Sean, I just cut out the shape of a marlin on a piece of paper. It was really cool, as you can see it looks like a marlin jumping out of the water. It was really fun. Tre was really surprised and we had a great night. Ok, I think that is all for now, I will write more about our crazy lives later. ENJOY!!!

I love the hair! It looks great on you. Sounds like you guys are having a great time out there. So popular! I can't believe Sean made that cake. I'm very impressed. I understand about wanting to hold Bre's baby. I'm happy you'll get to go home for Christmas. I bet she and you both can't wait!
