Cruisin' Junkies!

Sean and I have just returned from our third cruise in the less than 22 months. I know it's a little bit of an over kill, but that just how is happened this year. We are extremely grateful that we were able to spend this cruise with Sean's family. We had a ton of fun being with the family in Mexico for Thanksgiving. I have to say that it was weird, I have never had a Thanksgiving so hot before. It isn't exactly snowing in Cabo. I will just give little blurbs about the pictures, cause lets be honest that's the exciting part anyways. Just so you know who the people are in the pictures we went with Karen (MOM), sister Nicole and Royal that have four year old Abbey and 2 year old Landen and then brother Ryan and new wife Whitney. So we had a good sized group. Decision making was the best part of the whole trip. Actually everything that we ended doing was really fun and I wouldn't have changed a thing. We left out of the port of Los Angels on Saturday and cruised to Puerto Vallerta and landed on Tuesday. There we went on the best Jungle Canopy tour, this was my second one I have done and this trumped the previous one I have done. I mean this on was just crazy, we were taken on boat to this little inlet, then put on a Unimog to a ranch where we saddled up our zip line gear and then thrown on a mule that proceeded to take us even higher on this already incredible mountain. OK this mule ride was the funniest thing I have ever seen. They just don't listen. I apologize for not have any pictures of this adventure but they are coming in the mail. I do have pictures of the Unimog though. After we were done we went back and got Royal and the kids who didn't get to go, and proceeded to a hotel that had a little restaurant on the beach and ate a late lunch. The next day we were in Mazatlan and there we were taken to Stone Island on boat and then but on "Mexican Stretch Limo", it was a trailer with probably 8 slats of wood laying across the back that you had to sit on, oh and this trailer was pulled with nothing more than a tractor. It was a very crowded, bumpy ride. Our "Limo" took us to a beach that had a restaurant and activities to do. It was fun, we rode horses on the beach and took Kayaks into the ocean (it was a little bit scary for Ashley). These sail fish were just hanging out when we got back from our beach day in Mazatlan. Our last port was Cabo San Lucas. We took a "glass bottom" water taxi to lovers beach and relaxed all afternoon. There were some rocks on the edge of the water on the Pacific side of the beach and when a big wave would roll in it would make a huge splash of water. Luckily Ryan and Whitney have this awesome camera that can go under water so we got some incredible pictures. You have to excuse Sean's thumb... Oh Cabo... Thursday night we were back on the boat and headed back to L.A. It was a chilly ride back up to California. So our last day on the boat wasn't exactly laying out weather. We played games and took the Galley tour. It is actually really cool... the chefs do a little humorous cooking show then everyone gets to walk through the kitchen. It is amazing, it is so huge and absolutely spotless stainless steel everywhere. We all a great time and saw some beautiful scenery as always in Mexico. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

That is not an overkill! Cruises are the best. You don't know me but your hubby does (I'm assuming this is like every other blog and updated more by the wife then husband!) If you like cruising that much give me a call, you could be an outside agent for my travel agency. Then you'd make some money for all those cruises! Tell Sean Heather (Frailey) Alvarez said hi.
