I swear it was as big as me!!

Just another fish story I guess... Ashley never seems to believe me when I come home from these fishing trips and tell her just how BIG the fish really were.  So this time, I brought home plenty of pictures for her to see, and just assumed I share them with everyone else.  Now while the fish weren't quite as large as myself, we did have a great day out on the water, and managed to bring a few beautiful fish that are just itchin to hit my grill. 

We ventured off the coast of Cape Canaveral early one morning around 6 am with a few real estate friends that we've worked with invited us for a trip on their boat.   Robby, Trey, and myself always enjoy a good day on the water, and even more so when it includes a few hundred pounds of fish entering the boat on our fishing lines.  About 50 miles off the coast of Florida, we managed to hit a nice hole and max out on amberjack in a matter of minutes.  We spend the rest of the day trolling around looking for dolfin (mahi mahi, not the flipper kind) and had pretty good success with the help of our very knowledgeable and somewhat intense captain.

All in all, it was a great trip.  Beautiful weather, great fishing, and a lot of laughs.  Can't help but thank these guys for taking us out, showing a great time, and sending us home with plenty of fish (which is more complicated to get through TSA security than we ever imagined, but that's a whole different story...)
