Some Changes in Latitudes...

How many times has the question been raised, "Does Sean ever update the blog?"  Well I've decided that there will be one update per year done by Sean, and it's the Jimmy Buffett concert blog...
So if you haven't heard it on the coconut telegraph yet, last evening, Ashley and I made a trip to Margaritaville and attended yet another Buffett concert.  Just as all the many shows before, we LOVED it!  We arrived plenty early to participate in some of the pre-show festivities and even met a few Parrotheads along the way. Aside from quite a few landsharks schoolin' around, it was us and the usual suspects (Trey, Jamie, Katie, and even Trey's dad made it down for the adventure).  Each show provides us with a day to escape the fact that we live in the concrete jungle of Atlanta and meet a few folks who are literally sitting in boats, in pools, and on beaches, and all within the confines of a gravel parking lot of Lakewood Amphitheater.  Jimmy put on a great show, filled with some new stuff and plenty of classics to keep all the phlocking parrotheads happy.
As the son of a son of a sailor, I've had this slight obsession for quite a few years, and Ash has been a trooper since day one... Now after 4 or 5 shows of her own, and a willingness to associate with any 70 year old man dressed in nothing but a grass skirt and coconut bra, I think we've officially declared Ashley a "Parrothead."  One could say that she's earned her "License to Chill."  Congratulations darling!!   (Next year, she may be the one with the grass skirt and the coconut bra)
 FINS UP!!
