Hilton Head Island

I guess you could say Sean and I just need to live at the beach, I mean we are practically there all summer anyways. This trip to the beach was a first for us, Hilton Head Island in South Carolina. It's only a 4 1/2 hour trip from Atlanta, so why wouldn't we go? Sean and Jamie found a golf package at Palmetto Dunes Resort, allowing them to play an unlimited amount of golf for three days, and oh how they took advantage of that. They played 18 holes at 7 AM all three mornings then friday and saturday evening after the beach Katie and I drove them around to play another 9-18 holes. I had a blast driving the golf cart around, and I only took out the front of Katie's golf cart once, luckily no serious damage was done. 

While the boys played golf in the morning Katie and I took advantage of a fantastic hard packed beach and went running. It's a great perk being able to tan while running then having the ocean to cool off in when you're done.  Not to mention Katie and I rode our bikes to the beach then we rode again at night with the hubby's around the resort, I got in some really good work outs. We were actually able to ride on the beach because the tide goes down so low creating an even wider beach as the day goes by.  All in all we had a great time, we had some great food and best of all good fun. 

 

Last night on HHI...*Hilton Head Island* Come on Sean you got this... Proud little putters... Hurry the rain is coming!!! The wind was blowing a little bit... A: "Catch me?!"

S: "NOOOOO" A: "Sean get your hand off my butt!"

S: "Look Ash, I can ride with one hand!" Don't we usually make fun of people in this kind of scenario?
