Summer time for Sean and I means only one thing, BEACH TIME!!!
We love our weekend beach trips and our lazy Saturdays at the pool, but there is nothing better than soaking in the sun and digging your toes in the sand. I don't know how I lived without this amazing scenery for 21 years, no offense Mom and Dad!?
Sean and I started our July off with a trip to Panama City Beach Florida, leaving ATL early early Friday morning and returning home from PCB Sunday night just to make sure we could squeeze in as much beach time as possible. It's sort of a "Spring Break" scene down in PCB during the fourth complete with miles of beaches covered in Alvin's Island Umbrellas, and plenty of EZ-Ups bearing the name of everyone's favorite college. When the sun goes down everyone seemed to head towards Pier Park (a giant open-air mall that sits on the baech), or it was just us and a few thousand other beach goers. Pier Park is an amazing new development with little boutique shops, fun restaurants and street vendors. For the couple nights we were there we chose to eat at Guy Harvey's Island Grill and Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville. I have become quite the seafood eater compared to my upbringing, which really opens up a whole lot of new menu choices. That whole "Seafood" page isn't just in the way of anymore! Lets just say that since I found out last year that I wasn't allergic to shellfish, I've been making up for some lost time.
Here are just a couple more pictures of the same place you've all seen us at before...PCB.
When the back of the sunscreen bottle mentions reapplication... They aren't joking!!
What do you do when you are bored with your book at the beach?

I spoke to Sean today, so I know he came out of this alive! We dug holes as kids, but this is nuts...tunnel and all!
And the "Brosan" family tradition lives on!! Long Island had some pretty mean holes too ... if I do say so myself
I used to LOVE shrimp!! I wasn't allergic to shellfish until after I had a baby. Just a thought to keep in mind!
